If you have questions or aren’t sure where to start, feel free to reach out through the contact form or email me at hello@louisaogrady.com.

I primarily work with adults navigating complex, often overlapping conditions.

This includes POTS and other forms of dysautonomia, hypermobility and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS), mast cell activation symptoms, and autoimmune conditions.

I also support clients with diabetes, prediabetes, and blood sugar instability—including those using continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) or insulin pumps.

I also provide corporate and community presentations and write on a wide range of nutrition topics.

Let’s be real—getting a diagnosis can be incredibly frustrating.

You don’t need a diagnosis to work with me.

Many of my clients are still in the process of figuring out what’s going on or don’t have clear answers yet. We can still make meaningful progress by focusing on your symptoms and what your body is telling us.

If it’s helpful, I can also guide you toward the right providers or next steps along the way.

I’m also passionate about connecting people with the right providers whenever possible, because I know how challenging it can be.

Before your appointment, you’ll complete a short intake form so I can get a better sense of your symptoms, goals, and what you’re looking for support with.

This helps ensure we’re a good fit and that our time together is as helpful as possible.

If for any reason it doesn’t feel like the right match, I’ll always do my best to point you in the right direction.

You’re also welcome to reach out at hello@louisaogrady.com with any questions.

Our first session is all about getting to know you.

We’ll take time to explore your health history, current habits, symptoms, and goals so I can get a full picture of what’s going on.

From there, we’ll start identifying a few manageable, realistic steps to move forward.

It’s important to me that you feel heard, validated, and supported throughout the process.

Right now I am offering virtual sessions. I plan to offer in person sessions in Milford, CT in future.

Virtual sessions can be booked directly through my online scheduler.

If you’re interested in meeting in person, please reach out through the contact form or email me at hello@louisaogrady.com .

Initial sessions are typically 55 minutes to give us time to dive deep into your health history, symptoms, goals, and lifestyle. This allows me to get a full picture of your needs so we can create a personalized plan tailored specifically for you.

Follow-up sessions are generally 45-55 minutes, where we’ll review your progress, adjust strategies as needed, and address any new challenges or questions that come up.

The frequency of our meetings depends on your needs and preferences, but most clients start with weekly or biweekly sessions to build momentum and maintain steady progress.

Yes—I’m currently in-network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare.

Many clients have strong coverage for nutrition services and pay little to nothing out of pocket.

Since every plan is different, we strongly recommend you call to verify your benefits ahead of time. When you call your insurance, you can ask:

• Do I have coverage for medical nutrition therapy (nutrition counseling)?
• Do I need a referral?
• How many visits are covered?
• What is my estimated cost per visit?

If you’re unsure what to ask or how to interpret your benefits, I’m always happy to help.

For added convenience, I also accept HSA/FSA cards.

I’m currently able to work with clients who are physically located in the following states at the time of their appointment due to licensure requirements:

AZ, CA, CO, CT, HI, ID, IN, MA, MI, NH, NJ, NY, OK, OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY

If you’re located outside of these states, feel free to email me at hello@louisaogrady.com  before booking—I’m happy to help you figure out next steps.

Out of courtesy to other clients, our appointment begins at your scheduled time.

Please notify me at least 24 hours or 1 business day in advance of your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Cancellations less than 24 hours prior to our appointment may be subject to a $75 cancellation fee.
